Crystal Springs Golf Course Review - New Jersey Golf Cours Reviews
One half of the Guru’s teed it up for the first time in the 2010 season at Crystal Springs Golf Club Golf Course. Although early in the season the course was still spectacular. My favorite hole has to be the par 3 ninth which reminds me so much of the TPC Island hole. I would recommend playing Crystal Springs Golf Club if you get the chance, however be advised that rounds on the weekend during the peak season are over $90. I give this course an 7.5 out of 10 ranking. In addition to our video review, we provided pictures of some of the holes of the course along with a brief write-up and rating of the different aspects of the course. We hope you enjoy the review.

The staff at Crystal Springs Golf Club were ok. I am not sure if it was because it was early in the season, however when we arrived at the course the staff was not present, there also was not a starter present, so we had no clue as to the pin locations and or other information regarding the course that a starter usually passes on. After the round, we of course headed to the clubhouse for a cold beverage where the staff was very accommodating
Facilities: 9
The facilities at Crystal Springs Golf Club were great. The course offered a driving range and putting facility which got me warmed up and ready for the round. Crystal Springs golf course also offered a nice golf shop, however like most club shops everything was somewhat overpriced. In addition, the clubhouse is spectacular; it is attached to the Crystal Springs Golf Club Resort Hotels and offers a nice bar and a very pleasant atmosphere.
Manicured: 9
Overall the course at Crystal Springs Golf Club was manicured very well. Tee boxes were flat and trimmed nicely. Even though it had rained the night before, the fairways were in very good shape. The fairways on this course are have rolling mounds and at times when you stripe a tee shot down the middle of the fairway, you may find your ball actually rolled into rough. The greens had just been aerated; however the times I have played this course before, the green were fast and very challenging.
Booking Process:
The Crystal Springs Golf Club booking process was very easy. I called the number on the website and was greated by a very friendly operator. She quickly booked my tee-time and made me aware of the courses booking policies. Crystal Springs Golf Club also offers the ability to book you tee times on line
Price: 7
Crystal Springs Golf Club during prime season will cost you between $85 to $100 on the weekends. I got lucky when I booked my time, we got an off peak rate of $79 and an addition 20% because the greens had been aerated. They do offer twilight rates during peak season which are extremely reasonable.
Overall Golf Experience: 8
Crystal Spring Golf Club is a very challenging and fun course that I would recommend playing if you get a chance. The practice facilities are incredible and the club house is very nice. The course offers rolling fairways, and it’s not uncommon to find your tee-shot land in the fairway and trickle of into the rough. The greens are also just as challenging, so make sure to get some practice putting in before starting your round.
